Making a Difference One Smile at a Time

A Message from Our Owner

Since the day we opened the doors and ran our first service call, we knew we needed to be active in our community. Twin Peaks has discounted services, installed equipment and donated time and money to our customers, as well as organizations like Hair-4-Hounds, The Longmont Human Society, Breast Cancer Awareness and Habitat for Humanity, not to mention our local schools and churches. With every event and donation we found our team more eager to volunteer and support and I discovered that we needed a real cause to get behind to drive our message of community involvement home.

My older brother “Charley” was born severely handicapped and was given little hope of survival in 1967. Charley spent over half of his childhood under the care of dedicated doctors, nurses and The Children’s Hospital, and is still being cared after by these wonderful health care professionals almost 50 years later. The dedication and level of expertise and care that the origination gave, not only to my brother but to our family, can never be paid back; but I want to try.

Let me introduce you to our newest community focus: Color Me Happy, a movement in support of Children’s Hospital Colorado. We have taken an idea that my daughter, Alyssa, dreamed up. It started by allowing children at local events to tie dye their own shirts, and has bloomed into so much more. After seeing how happily the youth of Longmont responded to this activity, our team sat down to discuss how we could use such a simple idea as tie dying a shirt to share something so much bigger with the families of our beloved state.

Twin Peaks Heating Plumbing Electric - In the Community

We have brought the tie dye focus to our newly wrapped Tie-Dye themed Vans. Each sale made by a technician driving one of these colorful vans is donating a percentage of the revenue to our very own Children’s Hospital Colorado. This is only the beginning of Color Me Happy, as we have many firm ambitions to hold fundraisers and charitable events in support of such a needed organization. This campaign will not only focus on the children affected, but their family members, who are also touched by whatever their child is going through.

2016 is going to be a life changing year not only for Twin Peaks and it's members, but the community that we love to be apart of. If you smile, it can be contagious. If you laugh, you'll have the whole room erupting before you know it. Color Me Happy will be just that: a movement that started out small, but will affect so many with the simplest of things; making people happy.
